Moboluwaduro Abdulwaarith Becomes MSSN MAPOLY 2025/2026 Amir as Adegbite Sirojah Becomes Amirah

The Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria, MSSN, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, MAPOLY, chapter, has appointed Brother Moboluwaduro Abdulwaarith from the Department of Accountancy, HND 1 as its new Ameer (President) for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The official announcement and handing-over ceremony held on Friday, October 3, 2025, at the institution’s mosque immediately after the Jumu’ah prayer.

During the event, the outgoing Ameer, Brother Fawaz Adebisi, presented the financial report, treasurer’s report, and administrative report. Other reports included the asset maintenance report by Brother Abdulroheem Ibroheem and the editorial report by the Naibul Amir, Brother Abdulrahman Muttalib.

The process leading to the new appointments began with the Shūrāh, screening and interview exercise, which conducted on Friday, September 19 and Tuesday, September 23, 2025.

The handing over session opened with prayers led by the Shūrāh Committee Chairman, Brother Yusuf Bello.

Following the screening, the committee announced the list of new executives for the 2025/2026 academic year.

Speaking at the event, the MSSN Egba Council Ameer, Mallam Rafiu Abdulazeez, urged the newly appointed executives to dedicate themselves to service in the cause of Allah.

“As you have been appointed, please take up the responsibilities and work together to make a great impact on Muslim students on campus,” he advised. He also encouraged them to sacrifice their time and resources, assuring that Allah would reward them.

The newly appointed Ameer, Brother Abdulwaarith, expressed gratitude to Allah and promised to work with his team to uplift MSSN MAPOLY during the new academic session.

The Shurah Committee that supervised the selection included the Higher Institutions Coordinator, Brother Bello Yusuf; MSSN Egba Area Council Ameer, Mallam Rafiu Abdulazeez; MSSN Harvarde College Ameer, Brother Abdullahi Abdulrasheed; Moshood Abiola Polytechnic Muslims Alumni (MAPAMA) Representatives, Mallam Sobola Ibrahim and Mallam Badmus Teslim; Former Ameer and Chief Editor MSSN MAPOLY, Brother Fawaz Adebisi and Brother Abdulwasiu respectively.
